Great day today. Wind was Southerly at times gusting 25kts. There was a steep wind gradient strong enough for the K13 to go backwards at height.

We were able to do right hand circuits all day which took us away from the worst of the turbulence and sink. Driving the winch was a challenge in these conditions but our drivers and drivers under training did a grand job; I got 1900' on one of the launches.

We had wave - which is unusual for us. Mark got up to 3,000' with a visitor, with the CFI getting the longest of the day of 34 minutes with Will (new member).

So, 28 launches for three gliders and SF (which flew our UCL visitors). Thanks to the whole team, but especially Dan who did a great job as Launch Marshal and Paul, Jan and Mark for helping with the instructing.
